The New York Islanders trade Marc-Andre Bergeron to the Anaheim Ducks for a 3rd round pick, according to TSN.

With all the isles d fence injury problems and still in the playoff hunt doesnt seem like a smart move. The Simon trade i saw coming the minn they let him dress for last weeks game i know they where just showing him off for the scouts. |

I still wish I could've seen the Ducks make a bigger splash at the deadline by possibly trading for Jokien, but Burke doesn't want to mess with the chemistry on the team which I totally agree with.
As a side note Burke will be flying to Portland, ME participate in an alumni game tomorrow night between former Bruins and Maine Mariners/Portland Pirates players. I should get a kick out of that. Ray Borque, Terry O' Reilly and Wayne Cashman are just a few scheduled to appear. |
