 | Hejduk to play for a few more seasons? |
The Denver Post is reporting that Milan Hejduk wants to extend his career past 2010. Previously it was “hinted to a Czech Republic news outlet that he might not want to play beyond the end of his contract, after the 2009-10 season.”
It is also noted that “But Hejduk has changed his mind; he wants to play at least a few more years, and he wants to do it with the Avs. "Obviously, things are not going well here this year. But hopefully it's going to be one bad year and then we'll be good next year," Hejduk said. "But I want to play more than one more year, for sure." Hejduk, 33, is slated to earn $4 million with Colorado next season, and can be an unrestricted free agent in 2010. “
