Hockey is the game canadians can't seem to get enough of. It's like an addiction similar to playing the spin palace casino games. But most importantly it is down to the loyalty as a fellow canadian to follow the country's number 1 sport!

Onus is smack dab on players

Oilers blank
Kevin Paul Dupont

The Oilers, on a fast track to securing the league’s worst record, and nothing lower than the No. 2 pick in the draft, are expected to be aggressive dealers before Round 1 June 25. They’re willing to offload any combination of roster players in hopes of making both the first and second, or second and third picks in the draft — perhaps an enticing proposition for Boston if that Toronto pick, acquired in the Phil Kessel swap, is in the top three.

The Oilers dangled Dustin Penner and Tom Gilbert Boston’s way before the trading deadline. They could come calling with Ales Hemsky or Sam Gagner or Andrew Cogliano. Hub draftniks would burn their Red Line Reports on Causeway Street if Boston’s front-office cognoscenti dealt away a top-three pick.

But the current Bruins roster has so many dead spots, a couple of ready-to-play twentysomethings could be enticing.
