 McCabe_24 writes "Panther's general manager Rick Dudley is trying to trade Valeri Bure. He was being shopped around for a little while but a serious effort is being made now. Dudley is rumoured to be willing to pay half of Bure's 2.9 million salary.

I am not a Florida Panthers fan, I would just hate to see this guy come to a team I liked. I have no idea what teams would be interested in taking this guy on. If i had to work out a deal though, it would probably be to an expansion team....or I heard LA was looking for a top6 forward.
Any Ideas?

(User Info | Send a Message) | | i think val is best suited to play in the western conference. teams such as phoenix, st louis , chicago or ducks could all use a right wing capable of 25 - 30 goals. i think that the ducks would be his best situation because they have added some decent players this off season and he could solidify their second line. |

(User Info | Send a Message) | I know the Islanders will be persuing Bure cause Mad Mike already said he was looking for a scoring winger to play with Yashin and well they tryed to get Amonte but he wanted too much and Bure is just 2.9million a year compared to Amonte's 6.4million a year.

Why would McCauley and Bure be a good trade, if ne thing, it be unfare for the both of 'em, bure wouldn't fit in with the leafs, neither mccauley wouldnt fit in w/ florida.
if bure would even want to go to the leafs, which i think would be a great replacement for roberts til february, this would be a good trade if quinn was interested in this guy

I know Milbury is desperate for a scoring winger, but he is not going to jump the gun on this woman. If he does, I'm going to be pissed. Hunter, Torres and Weinhandel are going to get every opportunity to make the team. At least they will play with some passion and give it everything they got. This joke, just like his brother, would tend to coast and try only when it suits him.
THE ISLANDERS JUST GOT RID OF A PANSY, UNDERACHIEVING WINGER! WHY WOULD THEY TRADE FOR ANOTHER GUTLESS, SOFT, EURO-TRASH, LOCKER-ROOM CANCER.
I would rather have Czerkawski than this absolute horror of a hockey player. He is a miserable failure everywhere he goes.
I hope "VALERIE" gets traded to some quasi-contender in the East. Makes the Isles chances that much better. If that doesn't happen, maybe the NHL can form a woman's league... |
