Can't He Just Do Something Else???

Wild blanklint07 writes "Alexandre Daigle is at it again.... This time with the Wild!

TSN.ca

The Minnesota Wild are about to begin their training camp and a well-known player has been invited. At the same period last year, I was writing an article about Alexandre Daigle making a comeback in the NHL when he was invited to Pittsburgh training camp, here's the sequel: Alexandre Daigle, former 1st overall pick bust is trying once again to earn a spot in the NHL.

Daigle spent the first half of the season with the Pittsburgh Penguins but failed to stay in the big league when he was sent to minors. He's had 38 points in 39 games with the baby Penguins in the AHL.

Maybe he'll learn how to be disciplined playing under fellow french-canadiens Jacques Lemaire and Mario Tremblay but it'll take a major turnaround to make him work hard nigh in night out as he's well known to be lazy at times... We'll see how it turns out, could be a good move for the Wild, who knows?

''Nobody remember the #2 in the entry draft...''
-Alexandre Daigle after being selected #1 in front of Chris Pronger in 1993.

That's right Alex!

Comments?
Marcö's"

You got to admire his persistance, that's for sure, but c'mon, enough is enough already.

On another note, I have been trying to find out what the deal is for Pavel Bure this season. Is he gong to play, or what's the deal?

If the Wild can't sign Gaborik they can at least promise their fansthey will still have a #1 draft pick in the lineup.

Alexandre Daigle is just a useless log of shit that is floating through the modern day sewer we like to refer to as the NHL.

I have see cardboard cutouts at Blockbuster video that can play better hockey than him

Man, that has to be the worst #1 pick ever, if only because there was so much hype around the guy, and because of the glut of talent that was in that draft (1993):

#2 pick: Chris Pronger
#4 pick: Paul Kariya
#7 pick: Jason Arnott
#17 pick: Jason Allison
#21 pick: Saku Koivu
#23 pick: Todd Bertuzzi
#36 pick: Janne Niinimaa

Guess hindsight is always 20/20, but what a kick in the pants to have Daigle in your lineup when you look at some of these guys you could have had.

what a joke this guy is....he just keeps on wasting everybody's time. the problem is not a lack of talent....he must have enough talent to at least stick on the 3rd-4th line...but he has not determination, fire or heart.

he has even said at various points through the years that he doesn't always enjoy playing hockey.

if he couldn't even make it with the penguins,on a team that is desperate for some offensive talent to help mario, there's no way he'll make it anywhere.

I think Christopher Reeves has a better chance at winning a dance competition than Daigle has getting a spot on the Wild roster. What a moron.

I am new to this and I am not too sure what has been going on in this site. It seems to me that there could be people getting upset because of a person or persons using names from htr on other sites and causing the same turmoil. I have seen it before in other sites like this and in fantasy hockey leagues. We should be weary before we attack anyone and ruin anyone's credible reputations and be weary of these troublemakers because they will slip up. It just isn't that pleasent to think someone could be using your handle in countless sites and inviting all of those looking for retribution here. It's like an infection and would be a shame to see a great outlet for hockey fans destroyed.

Please boys, don't you think it would be alot easier if we just followed the Church of Jesus Christ and the mormon way of the bible. Make the pilgrimage to Utah and join. Do it for yourself, hockey and all of the mormons around the world.
We won't have to treat each other with such disrespect. it is a reflection of the violence in hockey today. If you eliminated the violence and replaced it with assisting the other team to score, we would all be happier and wholesome. It would still be a great source of exercise. Let's get along

....Is because I have had Mr. defenestrate in starchat.net and hockeysfutures.com doing the exact same thing to alot of people.

It really brings a site down doesn't it? it is pretty classless and people don't deserve it. There will be a number of people he has done this to come to this site and do exactly what i did until he is booted from this site. That is all we ask and we apologize in advance for anyfuture suffering of HTR members.

Don't worry. Once he runs out of francophone connections, we will find something else to do.

This time it is Lemaire and Tremblay, last time it was Mario.
