No Leaf prospects on the team this year. We had 5 players in 2002 I think.
Incredible how Esposito's stock has fallen, considering he was once considered the next Joe Thornton.

Pfft..3 years in a row the guy can't make the team and i'm sure it's because of his attitude or maybe his ability isn't what everyone thinks it is.

Kinda wish they would have cut Mason and kept Irving, that way the Knights wouldn't be stuck with Stephane Cesar. |

(User Info | Send a Message) | Too bad Emmerton didn't make it because of Mono...as a Wings fan i was hoping to watch him play for Canada. Good that Pyett did make so i'll get a chance to see him play along with Joakim Andersson for Sweden. Logan Pyett looks like he might become another of the Wings late rounds gem...i hope he becomes a Rafalski type of the defenseman for the Wings but we'll see i guess.

I can't believe Esposito didn't make it! I really like this guy, he has improved his two-way game. It's gotta hurt his development being cut 3 years in a row. Gotta suck for the Penguins to have that out of their hands. I really hope that the Pens farm team has a good run in the playoffs this year so that he can get some AHL experience before the season is over, at least that would give him a boost to his confidence. |
