 BruMagnus writes "So last week Team Canada won Gold at the World Juniors for the 4th straight year. Kudos! This week introduces the first U-18 Women's World Championships. So far, it has been brutal.
Team Canada has gone 3-0, winning 11-2 vs the Czechs, 10-1 vs the Germans and a crushing 17-0 against Team Finland. They have now advanced to the semi-finals and should easily win the Gold medal, making this tournament all but a joke.
Canada will go on to play Sweden in the semi-finals. While the US will play and roll over the Czechs, setting up the only game that may be close and interesting of the whole tourny: Canada vs USA in the Finals.

(User Info | Send a Message) | No! Why would I, or anyone else care. The tournament is clearly a joke and women's hockey completely sucks. It's slow, lacks high quality skill, isn't hard-hitting, etc.
