(User Info | Send a Message) | | According to Rds.ca, it's a 3 year deal worth 12.75M$.....so something around 4.25M$/year for Bryzgalov. I think it's maybe a little high, but Bryzgalov has really turned the Coyotes around this year. He had to stay. |

Seriously, this is a great move. Maloney realized his importance to the team and took care of that impending UFA status rather quickly. Glad I don't need to worry about my teams goaltending for at least a few more seasons.
Still would have liked to have Stamkos or Tavares...

(User Info | Send a Message) | This was a no-brainer. He gives Phoenix solid goaltending and the most confidence they've had since Sean Burke went on a tear just after the turn of the century. Phoenix is a team on the rise, and with a lot of young talent on the team and yet to come up, they will only get better.

I love the way this team was going with their defence: Jovo, Morris, Ballard, Boynton and Michalek with young Keith Yandle and Jones to play small minutes. Sign a veteran D in the off season.
Forwards with Doan, Hanzal, Mueller, Carcillo they would just need to add a few more solid forwards....
