Frederik Andersen could be on the move for the right price.
From tsn.ca
The Ducks’ acquisition of Dustin Tokarski gives them four goalies with NHL experience. That fact makes TSN senior hockey reporter Frank Seravalli wonder if Frederik Andersen could be on the move for the right price.
Are the Caps interested in Dustin Byfuglien?
According to TSN’s Elliotte Friedman, the Caps at least have interest in a big name defenseman to take his place. In his 30 Thoughts column, Friedman writes, “With Brooks Orpik’s health situation uncertain, a couple of sources indicated to check Washington’s interest in Dustin Byfuglien. There’s logic to this, as their cap hits are within $300,000 of each other.”
Canadiens “are aggressively pursuing Drouin.”

Is there a trade opportunity for Sam Gagner?
Elliotte Friedman
Another player trying to re-energize his career in the AHL is Sam Gagner, sent to Lehigh Valley. Not a surprise he cleared waivers, as no one wanted to take the full salary. Flyers GM Ron Hextall hinted there was a trade possibility. Gagner, who has not played an NHL game since Nov. 23, recognizes the need to get on the ice, no matter what the level. It might take time, but he’ll get a shot somewhere. Teams need scoring, and he can provide it.

Benning: “Really High” Asking Prices For Drouin, Johansen
Vancouver Canucks GM Jim Benning was on Vancouver’s TSN 1040 on Tuesday morning.
“I’ve talked to both general managers about both players. The prices for both players are really high. From our perspective, maybe we don’t have the prospect depth at certain positions that they’re looking to fill to make those types of trades.”
Lecavalier hopes for a move out of Philly
the Lightning’s first overall pick from the 1998 draft remains hopeful for a move out of Philadelphia before his career is over.
“I still believe in what I can do,” Vincent Lecavalier, 35, said over the phone Tuesday.
Trade demands no longer scary
Yeah, we’ll trade you. Maybe. If it works for us.
Patrick Marleau probably thought taking his feelings public would have him on a bus out of Silicon Valley very quickly. He’s still a Shark.
would take a lot for the Blue Jackets to trade Johansen within their division
I honestly don't know, but i think it would take a lot for Columbus to trade Johansen within division. https://t.co/ofMhLmeouF

Senators’ Jared Cowen sits out again, awaiting next move in career
Cowen was a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks, once again making way for Binghamton call-up Fredrik Claesson.
Could the Sharks trade Marleau?
It is less likely SJ asked Marleau to waive NTC and more likely that Marleau asked SJ to explore trade possibilities to select teams.

Could the Pens look to trade Crosby?
* Now’s the time for the Penguins to trade Sidney Crosby. The No-Longer-Kid is on the downside of his peak and won’t achieve his heroics of yesteryear. Still time for the Pens to cash in on a return. Who’d be realistic trade partners? How about the Canadiens, Maple Leafs or Kings?

LeBrun: “No Evidence” on Stamkos-Flames Trade Link
On the possibility of a blockbuster trade between the Flames and Lightning involving Steven Stamkos:
“Well, listen. Certainly Treliving, I think, has been on the phone to a lot of teams, from what I can gather. But I have no evidence to suggest that Brad Treliving and Steve Yzerman have spoken, sadly. I know we wish that was true.
