Team USA a Dark Horse at the Olympics

Team U.S.A. blankElite_Destruction writes " Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas, three-time Olympian Mike Modano and young gun Patrick Kane headline the list of 34 players that USA Hockey has invited to its 2010 Olympic orientation camp this summer. On Tuesday, USA Hockey released the list of participants for the camp, which will take place Aug. 17-19, at Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodridge, Ill, a suburb of Chicago.  Something has to be acknowledged

Team U.S.A. blankLeafyMcLeaf writes "Generally, Micky makes these posts, but there's some stuff on this that I think needs to be said, and I'm going to do my best to keep this as a-political as possible, because I think too many people make this an issue of right or left, as opposed to right or wrong.

 9/11, Never Forget

Team U.S.A. blankA day to never forget, even for the hockey world, as it lost two innocent lives. Let us pray for the victims of 9/11, and pray that our future won't witness such horror, especially for our future generations. As always, I recommend to listen to two songs that give me the chills. Alan Jackson's "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)", and Daryl Worley's "Have You Forgotten". Yes, they are countrish, and I am not a big fan of country music, but every 9/11 I watch videos of the event, look at pictures, listen to these songs, and pray for the victims, the people that lost their loved ones, and for us, so that I will never forget that day.

God Bless the world, and the USA.

A Day to Never Forget, and Never Forgive
