Hot and Cold Teams in the NHL
I wrote an article a few weeks ago that showed how important it is to play well in the final few weeks of the regular season. My statistics showed that in the past three years, teams with higher points per game after March 1st won more often than the higher seed. Ok … Say that your team was able to get one of Stamkos or Tavaras … who would your take and why?

So far, the Maple Leafs haven’t made the same splash among NCAA free agents as they did last year, other than signing Lake Superior State defenceman Simon Gysbers.
In general, while the collegians are signing with various teams, there’s a general sense the crop isn’t as good this year.
Don't trade Carey Price': Scotty Bowman
Coaching legend Scotty Bowman had a timely piece of advice for the Canadiens as he watched Montreal lose to the Buffalo Sabres Wednesday night.
“Don’t trade Carey Price,” Bowman proclaimed.
