Hockey Trade Rumors

Well, here’s my 3rd installment of trade rumours. Hopefully you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun is reporting that the Atlanta Thrashers could possibly deal Marian Hossa if he does not resign in the very near future.

I’m watching the Devils/Lightning game at intermission Bob McKenzie on TSN was reporting that Nonis is in the market for a top 6 forward. He said some of his henchmen were at the Thrashers/Canadiens game on Oct. 30.

I got such a good response from the first one, I decided to make a second one. So here it goes:

The Edmonton Journal is reporting that Oilers defenseman Dick Tarnstrom may be expendable due to the play of some of some of the younger defenseman.

Larry Brooks of the New York Post provides a number of interesting tid bits of speculation.

I found a lot of interesting rumours from various other sites and figured I’d pass them on to HTR readers.

So, 8 games into the season, and the New York Rangers have minimal offensive production, while their defense and goaltending has been generally outstanding, which should be leading to some wins. The Rangers have now been shutout 3 times this season and have scored so few goals since 1950.

The Toronto Sun is reporting that the Maple Leafs are “strongly downplaying” speculation that Kaberle may be sent to the Thrashers as part of a deal for Hossa.

The LA Times is reporting that that Kings may be willing to entertain a number of different offers for Frolov or Brown in an effort to get a quality goalie.

The Palm Beach Post is reporting that the Florida Panthers are shopping for fighter who can also play hockey.

Sportsnet.ca is reporting that Anaheim goalie Ilya Bryzgalov is back on the trade market.

I have heard many rumors lately in the past 2 days, and I will give you what I can remember.
